    • Acquired land and mineral rights to mine and recover over 3.4 million tons of premium quality metallurgical coal on Totten Ridge and Jump Branch for sale to commercial and industrial consumers both in the U.S. and internationally
    • Signed agreement to acquire a fully operational mine with a 1.7 mil ton measured in-place met coal resource (NI 43-101 compliant)
    • Signed agreement to acquire a 750,000 ton met coal resource, previously mined and stockpiled, ready to be washed and sold
    • Signed agreement for a proposed internal wash plant and load out facility to service local miners with a capacity of up to 240,000 tons per month allowing for bulk sale prices of up to $160/ton
    • Purchase order in place at $92/ton increasing to over $120/ton once minimum tonnage reached
    • Mining contractor in place and ready to begin production on Totten Ridge within 30 days
    • Existing wash plant and train load out facility with a capacity of 100 tph in place to fulfill existing purchase order
    • Committed $20 million share subscription facility once public
    • Only 300 acres permitted so far (Totten Ridge and Jump Branch) with plans to phase in geological studies to expand the permiting to encompass the remaining coal reserves (the Milan Branch)
    • Additional acquisitions in sight totaling more than 80 million tons of in-ground coal

    West Virginia is the nations 2nd largest coal producing state with recoverable coal reserves estimated at more than 51 billion tons in 2016

    There are over 280 companies and 456 mines producing more than 99 million tons of coal a year

    McDowell County was ranked as the 6th largest surface mine producer and 13th largest underground mine producer having produced a combined 2.69 million tons in 2015

    It has 84 operating mines and an estimated 1.6 billion of recoverable coal reserves

    West Virginia coal is used extensively by domestic utility companies to produce electricity

    Electric power utilities are the largest coal consumers in the nation, with 2/3rd of all coal production being used by utilities or smaller industrial installations to generate electricity and steam

    The steel industry is the second largest coal user in the U.S.

    About 80 million tons of coal are used each year to make coke an essential element in the steel making process

    About two thirds of a ton of coal is needed to produce a ton of steel

    West Virginia has some of the best metallurgical coal found anywhere in the world and it constitutes about 40% of West Virginia’s annual production
